Feeding Herself...

I have waited a long time to let her feed herself with a spoon because I was afraid of the mess that she would make.  Turns out, I had a good reason to fear..  This was the first time I let her try.  She did a great job, but of course most of the yogurt ended up all over her face.

Lots to catch up on...

So I realized that it was bee a couple of months since the last post...  Yikes!  Turns out, a lot has happened sinve then.  :)  So we'll start off by finishing off the month of June.

The last week of June brings with it, Lehi Days!  Austin's grandparents always come back to Lehi this week to celebrate in the festivities.  We were able to join them that Saturday for the big parade that goes right down there street. 

This was Kylie's first parade, and she loved it!!!  She enjoyed watching everyone go by and watching the bigger kids run around and fight over picking up candy.  She had her first taste of salt water taffy, which was a yummy treat.

By the end of the parade, Kylie was ready for a different seat, so she got to watch from Daddy's shoulders.

Kylie also learned a new work at the end of July.  I was pretty surprised when she chose this one to try...

I think she says it a little more clearly in this one...

The other night after Austin and I had some batting pracite we took Kylie out in the outfield to run around while we picked up all of the balls.  She was playing the bucket of balls so I showed her that the lid could be thrown like a frisbee, and she was off!  We liked all of the videos and couldn't narrow it down, so here they are!

Last night Daddy was reading a book with Kylie and she started to say her newest word.  So I grabbed the camera and started recording.  It isn't quite as clear as real life, but you get the picture...

And why did she choose to remember the scariest animal in the book?

Seven Peaks Day-2

I love this place!  We went to Seven Peaks two days in a row this week while we had nice weather.  We have so much there.  Unfortunately, we all have colds now, so we haven't been for a couple of days, but I'm looking forward to next week.  Kylie is in LOVE with the wave pool.  She crawls straight into them and she laughs when they hit her in the face.  She will even get knocked over and go under the water...  then she laughs!  She is the craziest little girl!  I think she actually gets mad when the waves end.  She is definitely a little water baby!  And I couldn't be happier!!!

Lazy Night

We had a nice relaxing, lazy night last night.  We only had one softball game and it was early, so we had all evening together at home.  Kylie loved all of the attention!  She cracks me up.  She still loves the camera and has so much fun playing with the most random things.

I love the end when she just looks at me like I'm crazy when I ask her where the plane is.  I can just hear her saying, "Mom, we're inside..."

Kylie really like playing ball now!  She has so much fun chasing it around the house, throwing it, bouncing it and playing roly-poly.

I think this one is just too cute!  She just crawled right up to me and started cuddling!
