Seven Peaks Woo-Hoo!

We got to go to Seven Peaks today for the first time this season.  Kylie absolutely loved it!  She had so much fun playing in the wave pool and splashing around with her friend Claire.  She even tried out a couple of water slides!  I took her down 3 big water slides and she was more scared each time!  Poor thing!  I figure she'll like them eventually, and I like them so we'll keep trying!  :)  We can't wait to go again, this is going to be the best summer!!!

Christmas Waffles

So this has taken a little while for me to post, but we finally put the pictures from Austin's phone onto the computer.  While we were still at our post of Activities Committee Chair for our ward our last activity was the Ward Christmas Party.  Austin really wanted to go out with a bang and was convinced we had to make waffles from scratch for 125 people...  Yeah, I know, crazy idea!  So we ended up making 9 times the normal batch.  I believe we needed 22.5 cups of buttermilk, 22.5 cups of flour, etc...  A ton of each ingredient.  We had to mix the wet ingredients together first.  We ended up with our 2 largest mixing bowls we could find in the house and had them full to the brim.  Then we had to beat dozens of eggs to "soft peaks". Then we had to mix the dry ingredients together.  . For this we ended up using a, 18 gallon tote...  Needless to say, we had a lot of mixing to do.  We stayed up fairly late the night before the activity getting all of this ready.  Thankfully the big tote fit in our fridge downstairs.  The next morning everything trurned out great and everyone loved the fluffy waffles!  So here's the pics!

The day finally came, she is officially a walker now!!!  As long as you have a cookie in hand she will follow you anywhere.  YAY!!  Good job Kylie, we're proud of you!

The Pool

Kylie enjoyed playing her in very own pool yesterday! She had so much fun splashing and playing and of course was very upset when I took her back inside.

Look at her curly hair!  Good thing too, it makes her mullet less visible...

While we were out playing, I plane flew over the house and Kylie totally said "plane" it is a little hard to hear on the video, but she definitely said it!!!!  :)

So I may have taken like a dozen videos while she was playing in the pool, so here are a few of my favorites...

She eventually decided that she was thirsty and thought that the water she was playing in looked like a good drink.

Don't worry, she loves this water bottle.... haha, she cracks me up!

The Park

We have been spending a lot of time at the park now that spring is finally here. I love Kylie's summer outfits, I'm so glad they fit her and it's warm enough for her to wear them! Last week she found out that her stroller is a really fun toy!

 

Mess anyone?

While I was uploading that last video, this is what Kylie was doing.... 

I can stand!

Kylie started to stand up by herself in the middle of the floor on Sunday.  The first time that we saw it, she was in her crib.  She grabbed "bear" in one hand and "grinchie" in the other and just stood right up in the middble of her crib.  After that she did it all day long!  It's so cute to watch her!  haha  She is a little wobbly sometimes, but she can squat down and pick up toys and stand right up again.
