Project Update

Here's the latest picture of my project.  I didn't work on it for a few days, but really went to town on it yesterday!

More Blocks...

Since I am unable to do much with Kylie and can't really leave the house, we end up watching WAY too much tv and just sitting in the living room.  Kylie gets lots of time to play with blocks, puzzles, cards, etc.  So there will continue to be more pics of blocks, puzzles, cards, etc...  haha   Poor Kylie, I can't wait until the babies are here so we can get out of the house a little more!  HAHA!!  That sounds funny...

And I get really bored, so here's 2 videos of pretty much the same thing...

I can't believe how much she is learning right now (so happy because I feel bad that I can't do too much with her).  Although we can't understand all of the things that she says, which definitely frustrates her, she is learning new words everyday and is so excited to share them with everyone!

SNOW!!

That's right, snow!!!  Well, not down here in Provo, but up in Park City.  We had to run up to Park City to buy something so we brought along the snow clothes and let Kylie play in the snow.  She had so much fun!!!  Of course she wanted to stay forever...  She was so adorable in her snowsuit, we couldn't get over it!  Don't mind the tags on the clothes in the pictures...  We didn't have scissors and we couldn't pull some of them off.  haha  I think her favorite part was eating the wonderful snow, but she enjoyed the "sledding" too!  She had so much fun, that she ran away from me when we were getting ready to go and didn't even slow down when her snow boot fell off.

She did get a little distracted with eating snow....  But it was still cute!  We brought back a bottle full of snow for her to eat.  I'm pretty sure it was gone within the first 15 minutes of the trip home.

Bad hair day?

I put Kylie's hair up in pig tails the other day, and needless to say they did not last long.  However, the resulting hairdo was quite impressive:

TUTU!!

Austin got Kylie dressed the other day, it was so cute!!!

She had so much fun wearing her tutu!  She also enjoyed playing on the diaper box.  haha  She had more fun climbing up and sliding down in her tutu.  She is so easy to please...

What is going on in there?!?!

I was able to get a short video of the twins kicking before Kylie jumped up on me and scared them away.  I'll work on getting a longer one as well, they sure do like to move!  It freaked Austin out last night when I told him to watch my stomach during some extra intense aerobics...

Puzzles!!!

Kylie got some really cute wood puzzles for Christmas and of course we lost more than half of the pieces within a week...  I looked everywhere for them and just couldn't find them.  I had decided that she threw them in the trash.  I was so sad that the pieces were gone...  A couple of nights ago, I asked Austin to get something for me that I had dropped between the wall and the couch and he found the missing puzzle pieces!!!!!  YAY!!!  The next morning I brought out the puzzle pieces and Kylie got so excited, she yelled "pussles, pussles" and ran back into her room to get the rest of the puzzle.  She was so excited to have all of her pieces, it was so cute!!

Kylie also has a different way of problem solving than most kids.  The other night she was doing a puzzle with Daddy and he told her turn one of the pieces so it would fit in.  So she grabs the whole puzzle and twists it until the piece falls right in...  hahah!!  It works!

And she of course got distracted by the TV when I turned the volume down, but I still think this a pretty cute video...

29 weeks...

I lost the transfer cable for my camera so these are a week late, but here are my 29 week belly pics!

MBA here we come!!!

Austin has been accepted to BYU's MBA program!!!  YAY!!!!  Good job Austin!  I'm so proud of you!  He will be starting the program in August of this year.  The twins will probably be about 4-5 months old at that point, perfect timing!!  Haha!  It will be quite an exciting adventure, I'm sure!

New Project

Last week I started working on Kylie's counted cross-stitch birth announcement.  It's starting to take shape and look like an actual object.  haha  I've been working on it for several days mostly during Kylie's naps.  I'm thinking that I might be able to get it done before Kylie graduates from high school!  :)  Yay!!

New Christmas Toys

Kylie has been having so much fun with all of her new Christmas toys!  She just goes from toy to toy making a HUGE mess!  haha  It's so fun to watch her play and learn.  She is getting really good at coloring and building towers.  She can now find the "hidden" switches on the toys that turns them on/off...  Not too excited by that development, but I knew it would happen sooner or later!  :)

Daddy's Beanie

Kylie found Austin's beanie on the counter the other day and walked around the house wearing it half the day.  She cracks me up!

She also got a fireman hat in a kids meal the other day.  She was very fond of wearing it until it broke...

Baby Shower

My good friend Katie and her mom threw me an amazing baby shower when I was in NV for Christmas.  It was so fun and cute!  The theme was two peas in a pod and was so cute!  A bunch of my friends from high school came and it was so fun to see everyone!  We got lots of diapers and wipes and some really cute matching outfits for the girls.  Here's a few pics:

Thanks again Katie and Tami!  The shower turned out great and it was so much fun!  Thanks to everyone who came!  :)

Christmas!

I just realized that I never posted anything about Christmas!  So here it goes...  Kylie had so much fun playing with all of her cousins.  My brother Ted and his family stayed and my parents' house with us.  So Kylie played a lot with Kara, Dylan and Trevor.  She had more fun playing with Kara and watching "Baby" (Trevor) crawl around and play.  They were all so cute together!  Of course one of their favorite toys was a giant box...

Kylie got such a kick out of playing hide and seek in the box with Bapa.  So cute!!!  Apparently most of the pictures are on my mom's phone/camera, so I'll have to add more later.

We were able to get these pics really as we were rushing into the airport.  We always forget to take pictures with Grammy and Bapa until the last minute...  :(

Anyways, we had a great time in NV and it was so fun to see everyone!!  It was a great Christmas!!!

28 Weeks... Woot Woot!

I took this picture this morning because it feels like baby A has dropped some more...  No conclusion from picture, but I think its a good representation of how ginormous my belly is!
I had my 28 week appointment today and found out that I'm measuring 40 weeks along!  Yay...?  No wonder I feel so huge, I am!  haha  I wonder how big I'll be when the babies come, is it possible to be 52 weeks pregnant?  Anyways, here's the latest full body picture:

27 Weeks

I had an ultrasound this last week.  We found out that baby A is no longer breech.  She has decided to drop and turn head down.  However, baby B is still as transverse breech as you can be.  Baby A weighed 2 lbs and baby B weighed 2.1 lbs.  They are looking great!  The tech couldn't believe how well everything was looking and how close both babies are in growth!  I got some new pics of the babies, but I can't even tell what they are of this time...  So I probably won't be sharing them.  :)  Anyways, here is the latest belly pic:

And here's a pic of me at 30 weeks during my pregnancy with Kylie:

26 Weeks!!!

Yay!  26 weeks!!!  At this point, I'm having tons of contractions every day and it seems like the babies have stopped sleeping and would rather kick and punch me and each other all day!  I did go to the Dr. last week where they performed the fetal fibronectin test which would let them know if I was in preterm labor or would be at risk of it in the next 2 weeks.  Thankfully it came back negative, so they said not to worry about all of the contractions I have every day.  So that was great news and things have been a lot less stressful since then!  The contractions are annoying of course, but at least I don't have to worry about preterm labor for the time being!  Anyways, here are the 26 week belly shots!
